Kenzo was formed in Paris in 1970 by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, driven by his love of jungle-themed patterns, classic shapes, and eye-catching details.

The brand’s earliest designs spoke to the bold aesthetic that has come to define them -- masterfully mixed patterns and an all-around adventuresome aesthetic. Recently, Kenzo has been reinvigorated by its current designers, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, who have been tasked with breathing new life into the brand both on the runway and in stores with mass appeal.

Kenzo’s eyewear features much of what continues to make them iconic -- from bold, animalistic prints and statement temple designs, to subtle details, such as inset embossing and motifs inside the glasses arms.
