Just because we’re running our first ever women’s Blogger Style-off this month, doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about the guys! We’re pleased to introduce our latest men’s Style Ambassador, Warren Pasi from The Boy in the Black Bow Tie.
We talk specs and style with one of Australia’s most dapper gentleman in our exclusive interview.

What inspires me: Individuality, anyone and/or anything that refuses to conform to what society says is acceptable.
Frame Style: Derek Cardigan 7037 in Olive
Always keep in mind the shape of your face, but most importantly wear what you like, as other people’s opinions don’t matter. Style is individual.
My glasses collection consists of: At the moment four pairs of frames. My current favourite is a simple pair of black Marc Jacobs; perfect for a Monday hangover!
I chose the pair of glasses I’m wearing because: I resonate with the modern yet classic 50s-man-about-town vibe that makes me want to drink copious amounts of G&Ts.
A tip on picking out the perfect pair of frames is: Always keep in mind the shape of your face, but most importantly wear what you like, as other people’s opinions don’t matter. Style is individual.
My favourite online source for style inspiration is: Instagram. I think it’s one of the most fabulous platforms at the moment full of individuals around the world with their own outlook which I think is so important in today’s society.
Buying the same piece of clothing in multiple colours, yay or nay? Yay, if you like it buy it I say. You’re boosting the economy and keeping the retail industry alive.
My favourite fashion trend of the moment is: Men’s printed suits. I fell in love with this trend since I wore a Vivienne Westwood suit at this year’s fashion week.
If I could be stuck in an elevator with anyone, it would be: Victoria Beckham, so I could get some pointers on how to achieve my ultimate goal of creating my own global brand like she has. I think she is a really smart and talented person.
I would describe my personal style as: Luxe-Prep with a mix of high street.
My current style muse is: Silver fox and street style icon, Nick Wooster.
Favourite city to go shopping is: London.
Final word: As Dr Seuss once said. “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go.”
